UP Police SI ASI Typing Test Date 2026 – Overview
The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has officially announced the Typing Test Exam Date 2026 for Sub Inspector (SI) Confidential, Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Clerk, and ASI Accountant recruitment.
This recruitment process was initiated in 2023–2024, and a total of 921 vacancies were notified. Candidates who have successfully cleared the earlier stages of the examination can now download the Typing Test Exam Notice and prepare for the upcoming test scheduled in February 2026.
Both male and female candidates are eligible for these posts. The typing test is a crucial stage for clerical and confidential positions, and performance in this test will play a key role in final selection.

SI Confidential
- Bachelor’s Degree in any stream
- Hindi Typing: 25 WPM
- English Typing: 30 WPM
- Hindi Stenography: 80 WPM
- O Level Computer Certificate
ASI Clerk
- Bachelor’s Degree in any stream
- Hindi Typing: 25 WPM
- English Typing: 30 WPM
- O Level Certificate required
ASI Accountant
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com)
- Hindi Typing: 15 WPM
- O Level Computer Certificate
Candidates must ensure they meet all technical and educational criteria before appearing for the typing test.
